Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!

It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

– Psalm 133

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-7

This was the first city to be captured in Iraq. The current name of the city is thought to come from its Syriac name, Pallgutha, which is derived from the word division. Pray that God would remove the spirit of division that is on this place and cause the city to be unified through Christ. Pray that they would worship as one body.

  1. Dear Father, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says, “if our gospel remains veiled, it is only veiled from those who are lost and dying because the evil god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers.” Please destroy the control of this evil god of islam over isis and all those billions of spiritually blinded people. Yes, that’s a big generic prayer, but it’s real, Lord. Each individual person was created by you. Open these eyes, please. Bless your people with more boldness to speak your truth in love. And please open our eyes to see the wondrous things you are doing. Thank you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  2. Lord Fallujah has seen many atrocities. Lord forgive the American soldiers during the Iraq War for the violence they committed against civilians. Lord may people who still remember that time receive healing.
Lord you are the source of healing and peace. You created order out of disorder. Bring your mighty Spirit to bear on this city that it will become a place of order and peace. Speak into the hearts of ISIS members living in Fallujah bring about a supernatural movement of people into your Kingdom.

  3. Dear Father, it’s in your light that we see light. Jesus is the Light of the world. Please let these isis members living in the darkness of islam see the light of Christ, unfiltered and unobstructed. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Amen!

  4. Lord Jesus, I thank you for your goodness and lovingkindness that you have poured out on mankind. Please open the hearts of the ISIS members and help them to follow You and no other. I pray that You would strike down and remove forever the stronghold of division that is over the city of Fallujah. In place of that stronghold let the Holy Spirit be free to act to create genuine and Godly unity in Christ Jesus. Let Fallujah become the place of unity in Christ for all who come in this city. Let the Presence of Jesus be so strong that whenever someone enters the city, they will fall on their knees and repent and be saved. Let the Spirit of Unity in Christ be strong in Fallujah. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

  5. Father,
Some of your delusional sons and daughters think that torture and depleted uranium were sent to the people of Fallujah in your name. I pray for a world without war crimes “in your and my name”, where messages are louder than bombs and destruction and where perpetual “counter-terrorism” is not profitable.
    Amen.

  6. Dear Father, Horrible things are happening in France. Please help. Please help now. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  7. Father,
Disrupt the evil that is planned in Fallujah and let the spirit of Truth descend over this city. For those who call on the Name of Jesus let there be unity and peace. Draw those you are calling from IS, to seek the peace and unity only found in the true Jesus. Confound the spirits of deceit and lies which abound in IS and disrupt the evil which is planned. Protect your servants around the world with Your Holy Angels.
In the Powerful Name of Jesus,
    AMEN

  8. My father, I thank you for blessing me with the spirit of prayer and intercession and accordingly I stand in the gap and pray for Fallujah in Iraq, the first city to be captured by the enemy. Lord destroy the spirit of division and bring peace and unity in this city. Thank you lord that you will tread down their advesaries and give them victory. Thank you lord that when the enemy shall come in like a flood you shall raise up a standard against the enemy and give them victory and lead them to triumph in Christ Jesus. We pray for a mighty anointing over fallujah and cover this city in the most precious blood of Jesus. Amen

  9. Dear Father, the enemies are swarming all over the Middle East. I’m reminded of what happened to the horde of enemies who attacked Jehoshaphat–they ended up slaughtering each other. Perhaps you are doing that now, with the Russians and Syrians and Iran and isis–and we sing praises to you for your plan and your deliverance. Thank you for what you are doing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  10. Dear Father, we pray that you would have mercy on those fleeing from isis. Please scatter these terrorists. We pray for unity among the nations who are taking in refugees, that they would be able to meet these needs, and that they would come together to fight against isis. Please help, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  11. Lord Jesus, please remove the spirit of division that is on this place and encompass this area with a spirit of Christian unity. I pray that you would speak to the hearts and souls of the Islamic people and please give them dreams, revelations and visitations from Jesus. In Your Name. Amen.

  12. Dear Father, shine your light on Fallujah and its leaders. Cause them to long for peace and brotherly love, the love that only Jesus’ presence can bring. In Jesus’ name.

  13. Oh Lord, I cry out for You to move in Fallujah. I come against the spirit of division, in Jesus’ name, and bind it. I ask You to touch the hearts of the men of ISIS that are controlling the city. Do whatever it takes to bring them to You.

  14. I agree for UNITY…Releasing the spirit of humility and binding the spirits of division, confusion and offenses. Thanking Daddy God for His mercy and grace for when sin abounds more grace abounds. In Jesus Name. Amen.

  15. Dear Father, Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation.” I pray that you would bring division and conflict into isis, among their leadership and within their ranks. Please frustrate their plots, cause their weapons to fail, let their funds run out; treat them as you did Pharaoh’s army at the Red Sea. Open their eyes to see you, and please give them grace to surrender to you. Particularly now during their fasting, give them hunger for truth. Thank you for what you will do today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  16. Dear Father, You are not the author of confusion and division, but of peace and wholeness. We pray for your peace now. Come like the spring rain and settle on Fallujah and the entire Middle East. Settle over these people. Let them tangibly feel your presence and seek Jesus. Lord, we need your Holy Spirit to move among the encampments and hideouts and captured places where isis is in control. Please help. Please let your Kingdom come and your will be done. Bring your truth and your salvation according to John 6:44. We ask this, according to your Word and your will, in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

  17. Father, we pray that the members of ISIS will discover the truth that will set them free. Please give your sons and daughters, the victims of their violence, the grace to forgive them and pray for their salvation. Your word tells us that it is not Your desire that any should perish, so we ask this with confidence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

  18. Father,
As members of Your Body, Lord, we are often fractured from each other. Forgive our pettiness and our divisiveness within the Body of Christ.
We pray for Fallujah, Lord. Drive out the demons of division and bring Your Holy Spirit over the people and the land. Father, we ask for Your Will to be done in Fallujah as it is done in Heaven, Lord.
May Your people shed Your Light into the darkness of this land. In the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen

  19. Dear Father, we so agree there is one God, one Father of us all, and you are not that demon god allah. You formed these isis members in your image. Please deliver them from the lies and bondage of their idolatry. Jesus said there were other sheep that he needed to bring into his fold. We ask and declare that these will hear the voice of the one true Shepherd and come to him in love and unity and peace. We believe this prayer is according to your will so we thank you for the answer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
