Saul rose from the ground, and although his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. So they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And for three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank. – Acts 9:8-9
In Numbers 22-24 Balak, the king of Moab, was threatened by God’s people. So he hired Balaam to curse them so that he could then defeat them. Balaam attempted to curse God’s people three times and each time God caused him to bless the nation. Balak was of course very frustrated; his plans for harm instead brought good to his enemies!
God caused blindness so that Saul could really see! Sometimes God’s children need to go through difficulties to be able to really see God. We would normally think of blindness as bad, but in Paul’s case God uses it for good! We also see God thwart evil plans and instead use them for good. Paul will later go on to say in his letter to the Romans that “God uses all things for good”. Pray that God would thwart evil plans and instead use them for good! Pray that each time they “try to curse” or destroy others that instead it would bring about a blessing! Pray that evil plans for tearing down would instead build up! Plans of death would instead bring life! Plans of hatred would instead bring love! Pray that God would bring about frustration and that in the frustration (like the King) that they would see the hand of God not allowing it and instead surrender to his will and ways.

Dear Father, [ ] asked us to intensify our prayers for the salvation of isis. I pray that you will open their eyes to truth. They are so consumed with their evil that they can’t and won’t see unless you sovereignly act, like you did with Paul. Lord, our eyes are on you. We pray for the “Ananias’s” whom you will send to speak to isis and all others trapped in islam. Let them go with courage and love, as Ananias did when he was sent by you to Saul. Thank you for what you will do today. We give you praise and honor and glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Father, Jesus said we can call you Abba. You are our Father, loving, merciful, powerful, good, true, holy. You alone are Lord. The god isis is enslaved to is the total, extreme opposite. Would you please let these demon-possessed ones see that truth today? As long as you permit them to breathe there is hope for their salvation. When they try to kill, let their arms not move, let their weapons not fire, let their knives and swords miss the target. Let them see their frustrations as your hand of protection on their intended victims. Abba, I pray all this in Jesus’ name because he said I could, and he said you would answer. So thank you for what you are going to do today, whether or not I see it immediately. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear God you Word says in Ephesians 6 that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers of darkness, cosmic powers of this dark age. Lord, they do not know what they are doing because Satan has bound them. By the working of your Holy Spirit convict them of their wrongdoings. Bring them on the right track of their lives and let your word be a lamp unto their feet and every step they take bring them into your fold to experience your unconditional love. In Jesus name I pray this prayer. Amen
Dear Father, again we thank you for answering us so immediately and directly. Thank you that there were no terrorists’ attacks on the USA over this weekend. That was not a coincidence. Thank you for the missionary’s report that many muslim refugees entering Europe are coming to Jesus. Thank you for bringing them to you, literally. Thank you for the Christian aid workers among the refugees. I particularly target for salvation those coming in as refugees who are really there to infiltrate and bring terror and evil. Let them meet Jesus and truly become Paul’s. We stand in awe of you, Lord God Almighty!!!! Thank you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Father, your ways are not our ways. Your thoughts are not our thoughts. Your ways and thoughts and plans are so much greater, so much higher, so fantastically better than anything we could come up with. You said you can do exceedingly above anything we can ask or even think. We ask yet again for salvation for isis and all muslims. We think it’s a big prayer but you have even bigger ways of answering it. We are craning our necks to see what you will do even today. Thank you for the ways you will make yourself known to isis today. We praise you, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Father, today is a special day of thanksgiving to you for your hand of protection, because there were no huge terrorist attacks on this nation over the Independence Day weekend. The fact that nothing happened in spite of all the threats is a tribute to your mercy in answering prayer. We don’t take it for granted, Lord. I pray that as the leaders of the 5 cities of the Philistines in 1 Samuel 5 and 6 realized that you were fighting against them, all isis members and any other terrorists would know their cause is an exercise in futility, and is doomed to fail because they are fighting against the Sovereign Lord and his Son Jesus Christ. Please bring down the demon god allah just as you toppled dagon. Please save these spiritually blind men and women, and the poor little children they are brainwashing. Thank you again for all you have done, and will do to bring truth and salvation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
I pray today Lord that you would go to ISIS fighters and frustrate their plans. Use that frustration to open hearts and minds to Your love. Come to ISIS members in dreams and visions. Bring many to you. I ask You to even go to the leader, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. Do whatever it takes to bring him to you. In Jesus name I come against the forces of hell that have blinded these men and caused them to persecute Your people. I thank You that You will make many Sauls into Pauls. I thank You that You are raising Your people up to pray for evil men to be transformed. In Jesus name, amen.
Lord, I pray that each ISIS member would clearly hear your voice and know that it is you and would respond in obedience. When they plan an evil deed that you would make them aware of a blessing from you.
Father as I ponder the words of Ephesians 1 and 2 I see where these are, the ones captured by the evil one. They are blind and lost in the wayward way of our arch enemy Satan. They are mired in the slough of despond as John Bunyan said and apart from the work of Christ they will remain there in this life and die there apart from Christ. Father, send your armies of angels in dreams to show them that those things that are of this world are death personified. It is only through the unblemished blood of our Savior as he pours out the Living Water upon them can they be made alive. Remove the scales from their eyes. Open them to see as you did Brother Paul on the road to Damascus. They live and walk amongst the ruins of where he walked, talked, taught and preached and lived. Awaken a soul to be a new Brother Paul to preach the good news that will bring them to a life eternal.
Lord I pray that great victories in the spirit result in this warfare. I also pray that more prayer warriors be stirred up to pray for ISIS and your people that are being persecuted.
Dear Father, this Memorial Day weekend I’m reminded of your protection over our soldiers during the Revolutionary War and how our enemies knew you were fighting on our side because of your providential actions. Please let these terrorists see that you are fighting for your people, and you are greater than their false god. Let it be obvious to them that they need to choose Jesus. Please give them grace to surrender to you, and then use them to lead their companions and families to salvation in Jesus. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Lord, I come before you as your son and because of your great mercy. I lift these pre brothers and sisters whose eyes the enemy has blinded. They think they are doing your will by killing those who follow You Lord Jesus. Father, You said that You will reveal yourself to those who are not even seeking you.
I lift these, your crowns, that you will visit them in their dreams and visions. Let them see the Lamb of God who was slain for them and make Him to be the Lord of their lives. Holy Spirit, bring that conviction they need to turn to God. Thank you Father for loving them and pouring Your love in us.

O Lord you are God who never changes but changes situation for your glory. Reverse all their diabolic intentions for your glory:in their attempts to convert people to their membership be converted to Christ, all curses be converted to blessings, all disappointments to appointments, all intended failures to successes, defeats to victories, use their actions and intentions to draw them to yourself. In Jesus mighty Name.Amen.
Dear Father, thank you. You are in control of everything. Thank you that although we can’t see exactly what you are doing, we know it is good. Please continue with the good work you are doing with these people. Please continue to make them tired and weary with their life and choices. Please compel them to choose life in Christ. Place them in a position of having to see and choose. What the enemy has intended for evil we believe you can work for good. So we give you all the praise, honor, and glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Father, your word says that You have not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, strength and a sound mind.
May those that have a physical encounter with ISIS claim this word in their time of need. And, that ISIS members would become convicted thru the Holy Spirit of the wrong they are doing to your children.
Father,
You have promised that “all things work together for good, for those called according to your purposes.” Encourage the believers that this current desperate time will advance Your Kingdom. Give them strength to see that even when the enemies of God try to do their own will and do Christians harm, they fail to see Your Hand brings Good to the believers. As Paul stated in one of the epistles, “to die is Christ, to live is gain.” Our brothers and sister in Christ go to Him at their deaths. As wrong as the persecution is, we were warned by Christ to rejoice as it was a cause to be blessed. It is so contrary to the human way of thinking, Lord. And it does not mean we do not fight against this present evil, but we fight with prayer and hope that You are going to fulfill Your Word, despite the dark evil we see. At the cross, Jesus defeated the devil. “It is finished!” Hallelujah!
Paul wrote to Timothy to “stand strong in the grace of Christ Jesus” but those who follow ISIS have no strength upon to rely except the memory of one who died and is buried still to this day. Father, Please open their eyes to expose the lie that they are following. Show your grace upon them and like Paul blind them to the evil one but open their eyes to see the TRUTH of the One who died for them!
I am reminded that when Mordecai was in distress for the Jewish people that he cried out to you Father, that you would turn it to the good. Again, we cry out Father that you would turn this evil to the good. As you answered Mordecai I believe that you will answer your children again.
Father,
You cause seeing eyes to be blinded and blinded eyes to see, Lord, open the eyes of the leaders of IS to see their own depravity and to seek You and Your forgiveness. Give the Christians in the areas of conflict the courage and faith for the hour of their persecution. Wake up the Church around the world to the plight of these brothers and sisters and come forward to meet their needs. Show me, Lord where to give support and prayers. You Lord, alone are Holy.
Lord, I agree. May you do a work that we would never expect because your ways are far higher than ours. Please protect the innocent and provide a way of escape for them. May they sense your presence and know your power, turning to you for salvation – physical and spiritual.
Ps. 109:28 While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.
Psalm 68:20 Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death.
