Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes!

It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

– Psalm 133

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-7

This was the first city to be captured in Iraq. The current name of the city is thought to come from its Syriac name, Pallgutha, which is derived from the word division. Pray that God would remove the spirit of division that is on this place and cause the city to be unified through Christ. Pray that they would worship as one body.

Heavenly Father I pray that You will set all the people of Fallujah, including all members of ISIS, free from sin and free from the chains that still bind them to the enemy. May the fruit they receive lead them to sanctification and its end which is Eternal Life. For the wages of sin is death but the Gift from God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

  2. ginna says:

Dear Lord, I pray for the city of Fallujah and all the people who live there and all perpetrators of evil dwelling in that place. I speak Your Name Jesus, into the hearts and minds and souls of them all and take captive every thought of theirs to make those thoughts obedient to the Word of God and to the Mind of Christ so that You can and will transform each one of them by the renewing of their minds and establish homeostasis in their body, mind and spirit. As they learn to turn their hands to only that which is wholesome and good, but also obedient to Your Will, I pray that You will bless them with great success and prosper them in every good way, a way that will Glorify Your Holy Name Oh Lrd. Amen

  3. ginna says:

Dear Lord I pray that You will build Your dwelling place in Fallujah and walk among Your people there and also all members of ISIS. May they come to know You as their God and reveal to them that they are also Your people. I thank You Lord because I know that You will give them victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. May Your goodness and unfailing Love pursue them all the days of their lives and may they live in the house of the Lord Forever.Amen
