Pray for the structure beneath the leader. It is called an “Islamic State” because it is set up like a state. Below is a description of the leadership. Pray for each part to know the Lord. Pray that they too would have an understanding of the authority of Jesus just as the centurion. May Jesus find faith among them that makes him marvel!

The intelligence council ensures the military and all leaders get accurate information on the enemies of ISIS and the media council regulates the different forms of media.

Dear Father, the song today says you are the greatest of all. As we remember that we are wrestling against principalities and other hierarchies of demonic powers, we state the fact that this structure is defeated and its leaders and followers are doomed to the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. We pray that you will break through the lies which isis leaders and their followers are believing and bring them to Jesus. Dear Father, in 2 Chronicles 32 you describe the attack of Sennacherib on Jerusalem, and his taunts and insults against you. Verses 20-22 say Hezekiah and Isaiah cried out to you and you sent an angel “who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the King of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there.” You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Please do that again, Lord. I pray that you would save these leaders, because that would be a greater defeat for the evil one, but if they will not come to Jesus please bring them down. Bring shame and defeat on them, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, Lord God Almighty, you alone rule over all. We pray for the leaders of ISIS that they may, almost in spite of themselves, begin to act justly. Speak to those in power, giving them true wisdom, faith in You and justice for all.
Dear Father, your Word says that you were found by those who did not seek you and were made manifest to those who did not ask for you. The members of isis are not seeking or asking for you. Please let them find you. Make yourself known to them. Let Jesus disrupt their plots and plans. No matter what they are doing, please let them encounter Jesus and see their desperate need to surrender to him. Let your Kingdom come and your will be done today. The awesome Wisdom of God who has always existed in glory came down to his creation to be born so he could die for the salvation of the world. Father, in the Powerful Name of Your Only Son, Jesus, I pray that you would disrupt the structure of the IS and at key levels You would make Yourself know through Jesus. Disrupt the flow of each council and create the confusion as you did at the Towel of Babel. Misunderstanding amongst those who are determined to do evil, but protection on those who turn to You. Confound those around them by the change of heart and the power of their conversion to You. Protect our brothers and sister in Christ who are suffering as winter approaches. Give them strength, comfort and show those of us in the West how to help them.

Abba my father I go on my knees and fervently pray for the Islamic state, for their top leaders who are involved in these horrific acts. I pray for nations who are funding these Islamic groups to carry out such merciless acts.
As your church may we heed to your word to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. We pray that your church be proactive in praying for the isis who are mercilessly killing our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Lord we pray for a spritual awakening amongst Isis members especially their top leaders. Saul who was persecuting the church and bent upon arresting and killing the early christians, was dramatically converted on the Damascus road by your supernatural intervention. Lord we pray that the Isis leaders experience a Damascus road experience and reflect god’s unfailing love, mercy and forgiveness. In Jesus name I pray and give you all the glory. Amen

Dear Father, in your Word you often call leaders “shepherds.” And in Zechariah 13:7 you say, “Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered.” I know the true meaning of that verse refers to Jesus, but the principle is applicable to other leaders. So I pray that you will strike the leaders of ISIS and the imams and other leaders of Islam. Bring strong conviction to each one so he will see the lies of Islam and will turn to Jesus. Cause their “sheep” to scatter and give up this terrorism. Attract these poor sheep to your green pastures and still waters. Lord, please confuse all the plans of these leaders. Make their words meaningless, particularly as they try to enlist hapless young people to their cause. Come, Lord Jesus, bring your sheep into your fold. Father, the battle is yours and that we are not wrestling against man in flesh. Send your angels to counter the principalities as revealed to Daniel. Set free from the powers of darkness those in leadership and those they control. May your victory manifest in the physical world as your Spirit convicts the hearts of the leaders. In Jesus’ name.
Dear Father, you told Moses all the earth is yours (Exodus 19:9). In 1 John 5:19, you tell us the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one. It’s your world, Father. You sent Jesus to destroy the works of the evil one, and he said it is finished. I’m sorry I have a problem with time, Lord. I want to see your victory enforced now, in the land of the living. But I know your timing is perfect and you are not slack concerning your promise. Thank you for working at all levels in isis and in all believers of islam. From the one who thinks he’s in control down to the foolish ones planning to join isis, please confound their plots. Break the demonic puppet strings. Set them free in Jesus. Dear Father, I’m listening to “10,000 Reasons” at the moment, and I’m asking for 10,000 of these terrorists to come to Jesus. It’s not an impossible prayer. It’s according to your will that they should be saved. I ask you for leaders, followers, those who have chosen to join isis, those who have never known anything else but islam–I pray that they will flee islam like forest animals running before a wildfire. As we pray for these men who lead IS at various levels, we beg you for your mercy to break through their hardened hearts. Penetrate the the darkness and shine forth Your radiance to bring them to repentance and true faith in Jesus. While each level forms plans, confound their evil plans and by doing so, open the eyes of those You are calling out of IS to the Power of Your Majesty and the truth of who Jesus really is – their Savior.
