Day 2 – Hunger and Cleansing

And falling to the ground he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” – Acts 9:4-5

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”

And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. And I said: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for. – Isaiah 6:1-7

Pray that God would give the ISIS members a hunger to really know who God is and that they too would say  “Who  are  you  Lord?” Pray that they would be willing to give up all previous ideas to really know God in an intimate way. Pray that they would respond like Isaiah, who in the presence of the Lord and in the realization of his greatness and holiness, saw his own dirtiness and cried out for mercy. Pray that they would see their uncleanliness and would cry out for mercy. Pray that they too would find the cleansing power of God through Christ.

“Day 2 – Hunger and Cleansing”

  1. Oh King! Amidst all the hate and turmoil going on in the world, may your Spirit turn hearts towards seeking to know you by searching our hearts and finding every way that is unrighteous within us.
All to the glory of your mighty name!

  2. Father, Your love abounds to all people. It is not Your desire that any perish. Isis members dwell in the dark, eyes blinded to the truth. Light dispels darkness. May the light of the truth of Jesus Christ reach their ears, their hearts. Thank You Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen

  3. Father, I pray that You would birth a hunger in each member to desire a true knowledge of You. May You fill them with questions, unrelenting about their doctrines and ideologies. May they not find rest until they find answers which lead to You. And when they have found You, may they be overcome by Your goodness and mercy, and defend the cause of Your love just as strongly as they have defended their false ideologies. I pray for Your mercy and live to reign. May Your Kingdom come soon.

  4. I pray that God would give the ISIS members a hunger to really know who God is and that they too would say “Who are you Lord?” I pray that they would be willing to give up all previous ideas to really know God in an intimate way. I pray that they would respond like Isaiah, who in the presence of the Lord and in the realization of his greatness and holiness, saw his own dirtiness and cried out for mercy. I pray that they would see their uncleanliness and would cry out for mercy. I pray that they too would find the cleansing power of God through Christ.

  5. Dear Father, Jesus has been lifted up, and he has paid the ultimate price so we can be forgiven and cleansed from sin. Please show muslims that the only one they need is Jesus. The work is finished; they just need to believe and receive him. Please open their eyes–open the eyes and hearts of millions of muslims, particularly isis, today. Thank you for those you will save, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  6. Dear Father,

Please give the evil doers of this world a thirst and a hunger for righteousness. May they be broken before you over their sin. Give them a contrite and broken heart oh Lord.

  7. Dear Father, I’m thinking of the small infection on my finger–how long it takes to heal, how it hurts (and it’s really not very big!)–then how difficult is it to be cleansed and healed of the emotional and spiritual wounds inflicted by islam?! Please help muslims today. Let them see how much they are hurting and how much they need the truth and healing of Jesus. Help them to want deliverance. Please open the eyes and hearts of millions of muslims today. We ask for miracles today, please, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  8. Dear Father, thank you that your mercies are new again this morning. The heavens are declaring your glory. We join with your creation to give you praise. We pray that you will bring isis and all muslims to a saving knowledge of Jesus. It’s a big prayer, but it’s your will. Thank you that you are in the process of answering. Thank you for the imams and leaders that you will save today. Thank you for comforting those who have been so devastated by terrorists this past week. Thank you that you live and reign forever. Thank you that your Kingdom is coming, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  9. Holy, holy God. Forgive me of my sins, my sins have hurt others and have caused harm to the body of Christ. Cleans those who seek you humbly and renew our minds and heart. Then may we turn to the world of hurting and lost people and give sacrificially to show the love of Christ to everyone. That our love would be a reflection of your glory, holy God, and would shine brightly to lead others to Christ. Amen

  10. Dear Father, we praise you for Jesus, who paid our debt so we can have everlasting life with you. We pray that muslims would come to know that truth now as they start ramadan. They are working to get closer to the demonic thing they worship, and don’t realize that Jesus has already made the way to you free and clear. Please help them. As they are more focused than usual on spiritual things, show them they can choose life, real life in Jesus. Bring millions of muslims, including all the terrorists and imams and other islamic zealots, to a saving knowledge of Jesus. Let them truly know the joy of your salvation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  11. Dear Jesus, as your word says you pray and intercede on behalf of your children, I thank you that we are never alone.I pray and agree with all the prayers said today for those that don’t know you and have a deceitful view of who you are, that the evil one’s veil will be removed from their spiritual eyes that they will be able to see your truth and mercy, and turn to the things of God. Thank you Father in the name of Jesus. Amen

  12. I pray to you Lord that you would give the ISIS members a hunger to really know who you are and that they too would say “Who are you Lord?” I pray that they would be willing to give up all previous ideas to really know God in an intimate way. I pray that the Isis people would respond like Isaiah, who in the presence of the Lord and in the realization of his greatness and holiness, saw his own dirtiness and cried out for mercy. I pray that they would see their uncleanliness and would cry out for mercy. I pray that they too would experience the cleansing power of God through Christ. In Jesus´ precious name I pray.. Amen

  13. Dear Father, this is the National Day of Repentance. Please give all of us truly repentant hearts, not just remorseful ones. Help us to choose to obey you. Help us to actually do what you want. We pray for isis and all muslims to come to true repentance and the saving knowledge of Jesus. Turn them around 180 degrees. Thank you for the Holy Spirit’s work of conviction. Thank you for your love and mercy. Thank you for what you are doing in all of us today, and for the results of that to be visible, tangible, and lasting, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  14. Dear Father, you are very great! That’s the song today–you are worthy of all praise. We offer you our prayers as an incense offering trusting that you hear and will answer. We continue to pray for the salvation of isis members and all muslims. We continue to say you are good and you are in total control regardless of the evil that we see. We pray that you will show yourself strong on behalf of Christians throughout the world today. Please bring millions of people to Jesus today. We pray in his name, amen.

  15. Father, we all want to be our own righteousnes and we don’t see that we can’t be righteous without Your light in our minds. Some of the members of IS really think that they are serving God cause they are not open to Your Spirit. They are misled by the evil one. Open their minds Lord, make them see that a truly righteous God would never ask for hate and violence. Make them question what they learned. Give them questions in their minds, give them an outpouring of Your wisdom, that they will see the error of their ways. Make them thirst for he only true God. The God of Love, of unconditional love. Make them like Isaiah who met with You. Let them see Your glory as we pray. Let them realise that violence will call for violence, that hate provokes hate. make them aware that God will never ask for terror. Father I look forward to the outcome of Your plans, plans for good and not for evil, plans with a future, a glorious future! AMEN

  16. Dear Lord,
May you always let us feel needing your presence. Let us seek your face and want you and only you alone. Give us a heart that only beats for you oh God. Thank you for all you’ve done and for all that you will be doing in our lives this day. This I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ the Lord Amen.

  17. Dear Father, the song now says you’re faithful and you’re always good. You are so awesome and beautiful. There is nothing that can compare with you. Please show isis members your truth. Their idol is false, and ultimately wants them eternally in hell. Jesus is the only way to life and peace. Please let them clearly see their real choice, unclouded by drugs or lies of islamic fanaticism. Please draw thousands of them to Jesus today, according to John 6:44. Thank you for what you will do today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
