Day 14 – Peace

Speak these verses over them:

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shined. You have multiplied the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as they are glad when they divide the spoil. For the yoke of his burden, and the staff for his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian. For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this. – Isaiah 9:2-7

The Lord rules over the floodwaters. The Lord reigns as king forever. The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. – Psalm 29:10-11

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. – Matthew 5:9

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. – John 14:27-28

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. – Ephesians 2:14-20

Pray  the  verses  in  Isaiah  9  that  say  “no  more  war”.  Pray  that  God  would  replace  the  spirit  of  war, destruction, division in their hearts and replace it with peace. Pray that they would find peace with God and peace with man. Pray that they would know the Prince of Peace that has defeated all hostility!

  1. Dear Lord, I pray that the members of ISIS will come to understand that all of those who live in accordance with Your Spirit will have their minds set on what the Spirit desires and the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. May they all turn to You O Lord and become Your faithful followers so that You can give them strength to do all that is wholesome and good and bless them with Your Peace. Amen

  2. Dear Lord may the minds of the members of ISIS be set on what Your Spirit desires because the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. I pray that each one of them will let the Peace of Christ rule in their hearts and that with the absence of war they and we may all dwell in safety. Amen

  3. May the Lord make His face to shine upon every member of ISIS and be gracious to them. May the Lord turn His face toward them and give them His Peace. May the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus. Amen

  4. Lord, I pray that those who have been convicted come to have the courage to accept their hunger for peace, the peace that comes from knowing you Jesus, the Prince of Peace; that the walls between them and those they hate will be broken by your presence. I pray for your touch on ISIS members during this season of peacefulness. As we in free countries and worship sing freely of your birth and peace, we pray for your breakthrough in individuals and gatherings of those whose aim is to terrorize or kill the innocent. In Jesus’ name we pray.

  5. May the Lord of Peace Himself give every member of ISIS peace at all times and in every way. May The Lord be with each and every one of them that they may learn that those who live in accordance with His Spirit will have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. Don’t let them be troubled or afraid as Our Lord left us with a precious gift. It is the gift of peace of mind and heart and it is a gift that the world cannot give. So may the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds and souls in Christ Jesus. Amen

  6. Heavenly Father, I bring every person in the Middle East before You. I cover them with the Blood of Jesus to cleanse and purify them from every stain and sin and protect them from every evil thing that the enemy will hurl at them. May there be righteousness in their hearts; beauty in their characters; harmony in their homes; order in their nations and Peace in their world. So let it be in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen
