Day 18 – Faithfulness

Speak these verses over them:

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. – Psalm 25:10

I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation. As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! – Psalm 40:10-11

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” – Lamentations 3:22-24

Pray that God would show them his faithfulness and that they would in turn be faithful to him by turning from evil and living as Christ did in love. Pray that the faithfulness of the Lord would continue to pursue them until they can finally know him. Pray that they too would proclaim “Great is thy faithfulness”.

  1. Lord how can these people or any Muslim know your love unless they are told. Thank you Lord for today’s verse: ‘I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.’ Lord there is a great congregation of Muslim people including ISIS members ready to hear of your love. May there be Followers of Jesus who can share the truth of your love with these people. Lord God who is defined as love move so that ISIS members and also our Muslim neighbours will experience your love. But how is love experienced unless by being loved. O Lord provide someone to love these people in your name with your love. Lord show me if I can be the chanel of your love. Amen

  2. Dear Father, we were made for loving you. That’s the song today, the beginning of a new day demonstrating your faithfulness. You haven’t changed your original plan–that’s why you sent Jesus: so we could truly love you ultimately for eternity. Muslims’ warped view of eternity is entirely based on lies and selfishness and gratification of the flesh. Please act today. Show them your real love. Open their eyes to truth. It’s all about love, your everlasting, faithful love. Help us to receive your love, and to love our enemies as Jesus told us. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Amen!

  3. Thank you Jesus, f or the reports of many Muslims turning to You. It is miraculous and wonderful to see Your Holy Spirit working in the lives of the Muslims who are calling upon Your name for salvation. Blessed be Your name. Amen!

  4. Dear Father, I worship you. As I listen to the worship music today I wonder if isis have ever heard the beauty of Western music–not the current noise popular in the world, but the lovely melodies and majestic hymns written to praise you. You are beauty, you are the definition of all that is lovely and desirable. You keep calling us, and I know you are calling those who don’t know you or even want to know you. Mostly I know you are good and you win. So I thank you for what you will do today: for the evil you will thwart, and for the courage your people will demonstrate; for the souls you will save, and for your unrelenting faithfulness. And thank you for your music. I give you praise and honor and glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  5. Exodus 34:6 Then the LORD passed by in front of him (Moses) and proclaimed, “The LORD, Yehovah, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loving kindness and truth; 7who keeps loving kindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.” Father, our prayer is that You will have mercy on us in all Nations for what we have allowed this world to become. Let us have fear of the LORD, strength and power to STAND in our lives for Righteousness and Love until it is Finished for this spiritual warfare in which we are engaged. Our prayer is that You will place a hedge of protection around us from the evil one in the Mighty Name of Yehoshua. Yehmein

  6. Faithful god the psalmist proclaims about the faithfulness of god and that your faithfulness reaches the clouds. Even when we offend thee your faithfulness never ceases nevertheless you are so faithful to forgive our sins. Lord we pray for the Isis that they may be always faithful to you. Anoint them mightly so that your anointing breaks the yoke of satan and they are liberated from every stronghold. May the light of thy countenance shine on them so that they be the light bearers in this world of darkness. Amen and alleluia to you lord jesus for answering my prayers.

  7. Faithful god, the psalmist proclaims about your faithfulness and your faithfulness reaches up to the clouds. Because you are great and faithful, you are so much concerned about your children even when troubles come our way. None is as mighty as you. In all things you are faithful.
Almighty god have mercy on the Isis group. Anoint them mightly and let your anointing break every stronghold of the devil in their lives. Let the light of thy countenance shine upon them and darkness flee. May they be faithful to you. I pray that every Isis
member who has the fruit of faithfulness would never leave god instead he would do great exploits in building god’s kingdom. In jesus name I pray. Alleluia.

  8. Dear Father, we choose to focus on you today. You are all that matters. When everything else is confusion and distress, you are the same. You never change. You are faithful. As you display your faithfulness to isis by each sunrise, draw them to Jesus. As your people display your faithfulness by their love and courage, bring strong conviction to their enemies. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

  9. Oh faithful Father, here we are, standing in awe of you. Preserve your people faithfully until the end, for your Word declares that there is a crown for each of your faithful servants. Breakthrough to the hearts and minds of ISIS members in your faithful and peaceful way. In Jesus name.

  10. Dear Father, I heard of a Christian leader in Iraq who is so discouraged with the continued slaughter of your people, he’s questioning you and your faithfulness. He’s asking that sad, sad question: why? I know you understand him, Lord. Please encourage him and all your “People of the Cross” you have in the middle of such horror. You are faithful and you are good. Above all else, we know you are good and we can trust you. Please help your people to be strong in you. Let their tormentors see your faithfulness to your people, let them see that serving their god is futile; compel them in your love to turn to Jesus and be saved. We look for good reports today, please, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  11. Great is thy faithfulness! Even when we do not see what we prefer, but we are assured that your faithfulness never fails us.
We love you because you first loved us and you love isis members just as you loved us while we were yet in the world of unbelievers. In Jesus name.

  12. Dear Father, you told Noah that you would never again destroy all living things; that sowing time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night would not cease as long as the earth exists. You have been faithful to that promise despite our greatly provoking you. Then you told Noah that human beings were not to shed human blood–that we will have to give you an account for the life of our fellow human being. And ultimately, Jesus said that we’re guilty of murder if we’re angry with our brother. So here we are, in your presence, you who have been faithful in your mercy, and we who have been “faithful” in anger and murder in one way or another. What can we say, Lord? We are overwhelmed with your mercy in sending Jesus! We receive your forgiveness with gratitude and amazement. And we ask for that same mercy for isis and all muslims. Please open their eyes to your faithfulness and compel them to come to Jesus. We pray, dependent on your faithfulness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  13. Oh Lord, You are faithful even when we are not. In your faithfulness show ISIS members who You really are. Give them a hunger to know You, the one true God. Hound of heaven, hound them until they bow their knees to You. I thank You for what You will do among them.

  14. Agreeing with all the prayers. Father we stand firm in your faithfulness to your word and to us who love you and do your will. We pray that your faithfulness be shown to those who are seeking fulfillment with idols and deceptive pursuits. In the name of Jesus.

  15. Dear Father, it’s ramadan and your creations–people made in your image for whom Jesus died–are worshipping a dumb idol. And the rest of your world civilizations are encouraging it, mostly out of ignorance or fear. But we want to fear and worship you, Lord. We are waiting and looking up for you to intervene on behalf of your persecuted church. You brought down idols in the past, and you are the same all-powerful sovereign God now. Please demonstrate your great faithfulness again, particularly now when muslims are seeking their god’s attention. Let them find Jesus everywhere they turn. Please give your people and your missionaries great grace and courage, and great success in leading muslims to Christ. We pray in Jesus’ name and for your glory. Amen.

  16. Dear Father, you don’t get tired of hearing us, and we won’t get tired of asking for you to work miracles in this whole situation with terrorists and all muslims. It’s not your will that any should perish, and we want your will to be done. Please show us and these deluded ones a sign for good today, according to your great mercy and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  17. Dear Father, thank you that we are another day closer to the return of Jesus. These terrorists aren’t ready for that. We pray that you would do whatever it takes to bring them face to face with your truth. You are faithful and you have spread the good news of Jesus throughout the world. Thank you that you will give each isis member (and each muslim) the opportunity to choose Christ. Please bless the Christians whom you are using to bring the truth to them. We give you praise in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  18. Father,
Praying for our enemies is hard. Thankfully, You are faithful towards us. As we lift up the members of IS, we plead for Your promised faithfulness towards them. Thwart their planned evil and do it in such a way that they are directed to You and Your forgiveness.
Strengthen our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in harms way. Remind them of Your faithfulness as well. Forgive those of us in comfortable circumstances for forgetting to pray for our Christian family and our enemies. Renew our spirits to be faithful to You. Amen!

  19. Father, I thank you that we have a choice to pray prayers of mercy because You have born our griefs and carried our sorrows. You have born our sins and so we can pray prayers of blessing that will break through the darkness, the hatred and the deception of those caught by ISIS ideology. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning and that your sun shines on the evil and the good.

  20. Dear Father, Your faithfulness is new this morning. You are relentless. Your love never ends. And no one is able to stop you or thwart your will. Please come do awesome things for which we–and these trapped people–have not even looked. Turn their fanaticism for their false religion into faithful devotion to Jesus. Glorify your Son today, Lord. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
